A closer shot of the mold apparent in the above picture.

The kitchen ahead with eat-in area on the left.  Mold is also visible behind the microwave cart.

 And a video.

Shared party wall behind kitchen cabinet, between oven and refrigerator, before cleaning.

Back of kitchen cabinet that was between oven and refrigerator.

Back left corner behind refrigerator, shared party wall on the right.

Underneath baseboard molding, in pantry area outside kitchen, before cleaning.
The rust-colored discoloration on the white painted quarter round molding was our first clue that something was wrong and prompted removing the molding.

Corner of living room, shared party wall at back, showing water damage discoloration on the molding.

Laundry/Utility room, other side of kitchen wall.  Shared party wall on right.

Detail of above picture.

Corner in laundry room, other side of kitchen wall, showing water damage discoloration on baseboard molding.  Shared party wall is at top.

Pantry area outside kitchen.  Shared party wall is at the back.

Pantry area right-side cabinet floor trim showing wet area on the trim.

Black mold growing on wall behind right-side cabinet floor trim, which escaped the cleaning that we did the other day.

I removed the counter top in the pantry area.  The ServiceMaster inspector used a water detector in the gap between the walls and the right and back sides of the cabinet, and it showed there was moisture.

Though you can't see it here, the back of the cabinet is warped and bowed out from being wet.  It also smells like a dank basement.  Notice the 2 holes in the back of the cabinet, which are about 2 feet off the floor.

Here is a closer view of the 2 holes.  You can see there's nothing but black mold behind it on the shared party wall.

Here's an even closer look at the shared party wall behind the cabinet, showing black mold growth.

For comparison, here's a picture of the holes in the left cabinet, showing clean, white wall board behind.
